She spent an afternoon touring the on site facilities, including the very latest advances in milking, speaking to the staff, viewing some of the dairy herd and listening to the concerns of the owners Mr & Mrs Harries.
She listened to explanations of the work that goes into running 3,000 acres over 14 different sites and was very impressed that all the team were dedicated to producing the very highest quality product in Pembrokeshire.
Speaking after the visit she said
“I would like to thank Mr & Mrs Harries and their workers for giving me time to look around and speak to them on a very busy farm. It was certainly worth it. I learned so much about the organic dairy process and had a genuine opportunity to ask questions and to see at first hand the real, behind the scenes work that goes into producing a highly valued product. Witnessing the dedication and hard work that goes into producing the goods, it is little wonder, that they have won so many awards. They certainly put their hearts and souls into their work and deserve all the acclaim they receive as a consequence. I really enjoyed my time on the farm”.
