Enjoy free trip to St Davids Bishop's Palace on St David’s Day, urges Joyce

Local Labour AM JOYCE WATSON AM has encouraged Pembrokeshire residents to celebrate St David’s day with a free visit to St Davids Bishop's Palace.

Visitors will be let in for free at all of Cadw’s historical monuments which are open on March 1st, including St Davids Bishop's Palace, to celebrate Wales’ history and culture on our national day.
Labour Assembly Member for Pembrokeshire JOYCE WATSON AM said:

“Where could be better to spend St David’s Day than at St Davids Bishop's Palace?

“I am delighted with this move. St Davids Bishop's Palace is a wonderful place to spend a day with friends and family.

“As March 1st falls on a Saturday this year it is an ideal time to mark the day by visiting our historic attractions.

“This is an excellent initiative which I hope will allow Pembrokeshire residents, and people from across Wales, to discover our shared Welsh heritage and to celebrate St David’s Day.

“By offering free admission to our fantastic heritage sites on St David’s Day, the Labour-led Assembly is proving that it is committed to widening access for everyone to the heritage of Wales.”
