Labour Assembly Member for Carmarthenshire JOYCE WATSON AM has spoken in the Assembly to praise the partnership between Carmarthenshire’s voluntary sectory, local authority and local health board to create a joint vision to develop the county.

The Minister agreed that the issues she raised were “very important”.

Speaking afterwards Joyce Watson said:

“The voluntary sector in Carmarthenshire contains a wide range of expertise and does an excellent job towards building a better county. This compact will ensure their views are central to the county’s planning.

“I am pleased that the Minister agreed with me that the voluntary sector should be fully involved in planning our future services.”
