Labour Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales JOYCE WATSON AM has written an Assembly statement of opinion calling on the National Assembly for Wales to recognise White Ribbon Day on 25th November 2007, and support the White Ribbon Campaign for the Eradication of Violence against Women.
Wearing a White Ribbon is symbolic of the commitment to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.
Joyce will be supporting White Ribbon Day by distributing ribbons in her surgery this Saturday 24th November in Llanelli Town Hall.
