Assembly Member, Joyce Watson, invited County Councillor Tegwen Devichand and her daughter, Dafen councillor Sharen Davies, to the Welsh Assembly (Wednesday 15 July) to watch the final Plenary session before the Summer recess.
The Mid and West Wales Labour AM congratulated the mother and daughter team on their recent political appointments - Cllr Devichand has been appointed to the Vice Chair of Carmarthenshire County Council while Cllr Davies has been made Vice Chair of the Llanelli Rural Council.
Joyce said:
"It's great that we have two such hard-working women representing the people of Dafen, Llanelli and Carmarthenshire. I wish them every success in their new roles."
