Pembrokeshire residents are being asked to nominate their favourite Lottery-funded projects for the National Lottery Awards 2009.
Local Assembly Member Joyce Watson AM said that those projects that make it to the finals will appear on a BBC One show later this year, with the chance to win a £2,000 cash prize.
There are seven categories in the awards, each reflecting an area of Lottery funding: voluntary/charity; sport; heritage; arts; environment; health and education. Nominations should be made before March 13 on 0845 0700112 or at www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk.
Mrs Watson said: "I encourage everyone to nominate their favourite Pembrokeshire lottery-funded project. This is a great opportunity for our favourite projects to be given the chance to win a cash prize and raise their profile not only in Pembrokeshire but also throughout the country.
"There have been a fantastic range of successful Lottery bids in Pembrokeshire, and they all have an opportunity to be nominated."
