There are currently a number of Housing Associations that are offering the Assembly Government’s mortgage rescue scheme in the Mid and West Wales area including:
- Gwalia in Carmarthenshire;
- Mid Wales Housing Association in Ceredigion and Powys;
- Pembrokeshire Housing Association in Pembrokeshire;
- Tai Clwyd and Tai Eryri in Gwynedd.
Anyone who wishes to be considered for the scheme should initially contact the relevant local authority’s homelessness and housing advice section. Local authorities will consider all the circumstances of each individual case when attempting to prevent homelessness, and may decide that mortgage rescue is not the best option, or necessary, to prevent homelessness.

For emergency appointments, a duty officer works every week day from 9.00am to 12.00 noon and then 2.00pm to 4.00 pm at North Wing, County Hall, Haverfordwest.
Applicants can call at the office without an appointment.
