Oriel Kyffin Williams opened today at Oriel Ynys Môn with its first major exhibition, Kyffin Williams - A Celebration to mark the life and work of one of Wales' most influential and highly acclaimed artists.
The works comprising this first exhibition hail from national, public and private collections. Supporting the establishment of Oriel Kyffin is one of the Labour-led Assembly Government’s One Wales commitments and the Assembly Government has provided £100,000 in funding via the Arts Council of Wales to support the establishment of Oriel Kyffin Williams.
Kyffin Williams - A Celebration can be seen at the new gallery between 19 July 2008 - 25 January 2009.
