You are very welcome to sit in the public gallery and observe a Committee meeting. Facilities for people with disabilities are available.
On business days, Committee meetings are held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and throughout the day on Thursdays. Meetings are held at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay or at other venues throughout Wales.
There are a number of different committees which deal with a range of issues. Detailed information about dates, locations, agendas, papers and minutes can be obtained from the Committees section.
If you want to attend a Committee meeting, you can book a week in advance. There are normally 27 seats available in the public gallery of each committee room in the Senedd, with wheelchair spaces available. Although it is advisable to pre-book seats to avoid disappointment, this is not always necessary and there may be seats available on the day - enquire at the information desk.
Due to high demand for seats for some Committee meetings, group bookings are limited to 10 in order to maximise public access opportunities. Seats will be held for 15 minutes after the meeting has started, and then released to people on the reserve list. If you are aware that you will be arriving late, please make this clear when you book so that the seats may be held until you arrive.
You can find out what will be discussed in the Committee meetings by clicking here. Copies of agendas will also be available at the information desk. Information is also shown on plasma screeens and information pods in the Senedd.
Previous Committee meetings are recorded in the Assembly’s Record of Proceedings
